“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (Luke 21:36)
Greetings Brethren,
I hope all of you are doing well. We sure are living in an upside-down, untoward and troubled world. The current “Signs of The Times” surely shows us that our Lord and Savior is soon to return, and that’s a good thing. We too, like Abraham need that: “City (to come) whose Foundations, and Builder and Maker is God. ”(Hebrews 11:10).
As the trouble around this world continues to escalate, we see the coming Beast power (the last world ruling evil empire) yearning to stand up, and soon will. Scripture clearly tells us that the ten toes of the statue in King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream represent ten coming Kings who will not have a good bond, but will give their power to the Beast. (Daniel 2:42).
In Africa “all” 54 Countries on that continent have now not only joined the African Union (AU) but have also Relinquished power to them. Some countries like Kenya were happy to join. But some were not, but had little choice. So a weak bond, like the “iron & clay”
The continent of Africa now being under one King (one toe) is quite obvious. But let us not be fooled, the other nine toes are out there, and their debut is coming. (Revelation 17:12-13) tells us that all ten kings will receive power for one hour with the Beast.
And (Daniel 2:44) clearly tells us that during the reign of these Kings, the Kingdom of God will finally be established. Where, up on the “Sea of Glass”. (Revelation 15:2).
Most of His cabinet is still asleep in their graves, but soon to be resurrected. No, we don’t know “the day nor the hour” of our Lord’s return. But we do know that it’s finally “at the doors”. (Matthew 24:32-34) (Mark 13:28-30).
Scripture also clearly shows us the timing of the “First Resurrection”. After 3 ½ years of Tribulation, His two witnesses will be killed, and as we know, their dead bodies will lie in the streets of Jerusalem. But after 3 ½ days they will be resurrected. That is when “all” the First Fruits will be resurrected. (Yes. the first resurrection) and taken up to the “Sea of Glass”. (Revelation 15:1) shows us the timing here is when the “Wrath of God” is about to be poured out. (That takes place immediately after the Great Tribulation.) And (Revelation 15:2) shows where the Saints will be at that time. Yes, up on that “Sea of Glass”.
Brethren, let us be prepared for what is coming. Remember, in the past our Creator shook the Earth. But this time He says He is going to shake both “Heaven and Earth”. Brethren there is a storm brewing and it’s headed our way. Are we prepared for it?
Some Jew’s escaped the Holocaust because they saw trouble coming, and they escaped by taking action. Let us also be sure that we are taking action, the proper action. And I’m not speaking of stocking up on gold, or silver, or food. Our only hope in fulfilling our High Calling is by coming completely out of this world and walking upright. We need to be conquerors. Yes, we need to overcome, and we have been given the Power of His Holy Spirit to accomplish that.
Nowhere in the Holy Scriptures does it say: To him that only “tries” to overcome will I grant this and give that. Just trying doesn’t cut it for His First Fruits. All seven churches are clearly told “To him that “overcometh” (Strong’s # G3528 conquer – prevail – get the victory) will I grant this and give that.
There is a Very important article titled “False Teaching Exposed” concerning the “Church of God Community” and if “overcoming” is possible to achieve while still in the flesh. Many pulpits still teach today, that there is a magic wand at the end of the day that will instantaneously clean us up and make us pure. Hogwash! He wants His little flock clean and pure “now” while still in the flesh. And He gives them the Power of The Father’s Holy Spirit to achieve it. (The link is below.)
Let us be sure that everything we do in our day to day life, are things that are pleasing in His sight. Like (Romans 8:31) so Clearly and Powerfully says: “If God be for us, who can be against us?”
And the comforting and reassuring (Romans 8:28) tells us: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God (loving God is to keep His Commandments.) to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Okay, enough preaching to the Choir let me focus now on the Update.
First let me thank you donors for the quick reply to my last letter. As many of you know, the donations and offerings you send don’t spend any time resting in our church bank account. As the funds come in, the funds go out, and much is being accomplished. The need is great. Life is rough and tough for our brethren living in these 3rd world countries. Your support of these orphans and widows continues to help in easing their suffering and afflictions, and continues to produce much good fruit.
Thanks to your support, none of our widows or orphans has died from starvation in recent Months. (Although hunger and starvation is all around them.) Your donations are so helpful (and definitely your prayers) I pray every day brethren to be a better steward, because the needs are so great. Sometimes it can be a balancing act to decide which widow or orphan needs help the most. That’s why it’s so important for all of us to be led by His Spirit in everything we do. And the best way to achieve that starts on our knees. I thank you for the prayers, they are needed so much. And the orphans often tell me that they are always praying for all of you.
Douglas’s Getionko congregation’s children (most are orphans.)
The following letter is from Douglas:
“Dear Pastor Bill,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to you and kindly ask that you pass along my heartfelt thanks to the generous donors as well. The relief supplies you have provided have been a tremendous blessing to the orphans, widows, and others in need. They have not only met urgent needs but have also brought renewed hope and joy to many lives.
Your compassion and commitment to serving others are a powerful testimony of God’s love. May the Lord bless and sustain each of you abundantly as you continue to make a difference in the lives of the vulnerable.
With warm regards and sincere appreciation,
Dauglas Henry.”

The following letter is from Mokoro:
“SHALOM
Hello donors, I hope our heavenly Father is with you and also your family. Receive warm greetings from Sengera orphanage with much appreciate for the work you are doing for us. Our Lord has been with me since I started my school, until now I have every reason to thank Him.
You have been supportive to me, and I really appreciate that. Education is the key to success. Now I have finished my school I am waiting for the results so that I can join university to continue with my studies for the better tomorrow.
There have been many challenges along the way, but I have tried my best to overcome them, because the Bible says that we should be strong and of good courage. Nothing missed me because of your effort, the school fees were paid on time, and I had enough uniforms and everything that was needed in school. I really appreciate your love and concern for me. Now I have finished the journey of schooling well, and I have hope that I have pass my exam because I didn’t miss anything that will make me to fail. I had enough studying resources that Mr. Bill bought for us.
Thank you so much, and may God bless all of you,
FROM CHARLES MOKORO.”

Boys painting the Girl’s House
The girl’s house was in need of painting, so the boys jumped right in and began that project. None of the orphans are lazy in any way, and they don’t take anything for granted. They’re always quick to help in any way.
Over the years we have taught the orphans not only how to paint, but also carpentry, electrical, masonry, plumbing and more. They all have had plenty of hands-on experience in these various fields, and have learned how to safely use a variety of tools. (If you scroll down on our “Kenya Updater Page” you can see them in action, working around the orphanage over the years.)
Back of the Girl’s House – Our Kenyan Brethren like Bright Colors.
The Brethren’s field of Maize and Beans is doing well.
We planted this field in September. (It’s pictured in the October 1, 2024 Update) and will be ready for harvest in March 2025. Our hope is to continue helping more of our brethren to plant crops like the one above.
The more self supportive they become the better, and they have already come a long way. When I first visited our E. African Brethren (Kenya and Tanzania) back in 2005, the majority (if not all) of the groups were meeting under trees on Sabbath. They had no meeting halls, and they had no Bibles, (they didn’t even have any mosquito nets because they couldn’t afford the $4. cost). Every family had members suffering from malaria including children. At that time they were mostly (if not all) members of the church of God. Some of our Kenyan and Tanzanian Brethren go as far back as the “Radio COG” back in the 50ies.
Today, we are doing our best to assist our impoverished Brethren, with our focus on the orphans and widows, like we read in (James 1:27) and elsewhere. Currently (thanks to you donors) none of the groups are meeting under trees anymore. We were able to assist all of them in building some form of “shade”. Although we do now have the Getionko congregation’s hall in need of replacing before it collapses. (We built it quite a number of years ago out of mud.) There is a current fundraiser started for this. (The link is below.)
So we thank you Brethren, for continuing to help these Brethren of ours. I don’t thank you often enough, but please know your donation continue to make a strong impact. And please try to inform others when possible about the need, because the work we are involved in is a good work, a good work that continues to glorify our Heavenly Father.
Thank You.
