1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things, hold fast to the good.
Acts 17:10-11 And the brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. They, when they arrived went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 And these were more noble than those of Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures daily to see if those things were so.
The scriptures are full of warnings about false teachers. Jesus said many times “watch not to be deceived”. With all these warning there are still many that are deceived. The main problem is that too many are putting their trust in man and believe what is being taught from the pulpit without checking the scriptures to see if it is true. In addition to checking the scriptures we need to pray for discernment and wisdom. This includes the links below and our own articles and articles by others.
