Donor Letter August 10, 2025

Greetings Brethren,

I hope all of you are well, as the return of our Lord, and the establishing of the coming Kingdon of God approaches. I have received the following good report from Menley. He is progressing well, and will soon begin his flight “simulator” training.

” Dear Menley,

As we mark the official close of the semester, we take this moment to commend your efforts and extend our very best wishes to you during the holiday break. Remain disciplined and focused as you enjoy your time away. We encourage you to exchange academic resources, engage in intellectual discussions, and pursue independent research for further exploration and personal growth.

We also take this opportunity to extend our sincere congratulations upon your successful clearance for the Simulator Training Program. After a comprehensive review of your academic record and performance, we are pleased to inform you that you have met the requisite pass mark.

Your performance has been commendable, and we commend your diligence and excellence throughout the course of your study. Except for one pending unit, in which a mark was not recorded, your academic standing has satisfied the threshold for progression. You are therefore requested to make the necessary arrangements with the Dean of your Department.

In preparation for your training, you are further instructed to obtain and duly fill out the Health Examination Forms without delay. Kindly ensure that all required medical samples are submitted this is of paramount importance and a prerequisite for participation.

Additionally, you are required to liaise with your Head of Department to verify and confirm your academic and logistical readiness, including all personal and professional requirements pertinent to the simulator engagement.

Once again, we convey our heartfelt best wishes as you embark on this new phase of your academic and professional journey. May the Almighty guide your steps and preserve your strength throughout your training.

“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

— Proverbs 16:3

Yours faithfully,

Academic Registrar.”

We also have James, another orphan who has been living at Sengera House, who is now ready to further his education. James has graduated High School, and is ready to begin Nursing School. James says his dream has been “to become a nurse, and help people.”

A couple of brethren have already begun trying to help James with his tuition etc. The following letter is from Sara Baer, a sister in the faith from Idaho. Sara has been doing much investigating, and has found the perfect school for James to attend. She reports the following:

It’s been 4 months since James shared his plans. They are approved and ready to move forward THIS MONTH!

Attached photos of his letter of acceptance (contingent upon submitting documents and fees), the cost for the first 2 semesters, and one of James himself!

Immediately, James needs a one time $195 in order to obtain and submit the required documentation for registration.

Then, as soon as possible, James needs $470 for the first semester tuition, fees which begins in September! (He’s anxious)

And $300 for first month’s rent, which will begin as soon as it’s received. The rent includes wifi, security, water, electricity.

All Kenya schools, from grade school through university, require students to wear standard uniforms. You can look at pictures on-line for any school or college in Kenya to see this custom. Therefore, as soon as possible, James needs $165 for required uniform and shoes.

Another one time expense, is to furnish the rental apartment with furniture, appliances, basic supplies, safety/first ait kit etc. with an estimate of $900 total.

Known recurring expenses will be:

Monthly: RENT $300 and FOOD $250

Semester-ly: TUITION $470

PLEASE EARMARK ALL FUNDS FOR JAMES’ EDUCATION separately from funds for the orphanage! We don’t want to decrease funds for the food and care of the elderly and orphans. Kuddos to Bill for another orphan heading to college! James is eager to make money to contribute to the orphanage too!

Pass this along to people who might be interested in helping James.

THANK YOU for your interest!!

James will be obtaining his nursing credentials from:

Kisii Medical Training College (KMTC) https://kmtc.ac.ke

Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing … ~September and ~March 22-week semesters with 2 weeks between …

3 options (2 yr, 2.5 yr, 3yr)

I am impressed with this college. It’s professional and focuses upon the hands-on skills needed to enter the workforce. A student can become fully financially independent within months after graduation. Without debt!

As I previously mentioned, a couple of brethren have already begun helping James. But others are needed to help him in furthering his education.

We also have Jemima (sister to Menley) who has also graduated High School with good grades. Jemima also hopes to further her education, but currently we haven’t enough funds for her to begin. But as long as these orphans continue to beseech God, and strive to learn, and walk in all of His ways, He will provide.

Now let me give you another taste of what our impoverished brethren who are living in these 3rd world counties are enduring.  It’s been a rough week for them. The inspectors came to the Getionko congregation and demanded the church toilet be emptied. But there was no money to pay. They needed a little time to raise the funds.  But as usual, after 3 days the police came looking to arrest. (And it used to be only men arrested, but now they come after the wives also.)

Douglas and his family had to flee their home immediately. They spent one night at our camp in Sengera, and then they left for fear of being found there. The authorities know our two congregations are connected, and the Police were looking everywhere to arrest them. So they fled our camp, and hid in the nearby cornfields for two additional days and nights. Sleeping on the ground with no blankets, no food, no anything. We finally had enough funds to help them, and they were able to return home.

This story is very sad, yes? But it gets worse. When they reached home, they found that thieves had broken into their small house and stole everything. Their mattresses, blankets, pots, pans etc. It was devastating to them to say the least. But our Kenyan Brethren are used to suffering in this life, so they carried the three children into their empty house (they were too weak to walk) and they all slept on the floor with only one blanket.

We were able to send them some small immediate relief, and planning to send them more funds tomorrow that will last them (and the other orphans) a few days.

Dauglas, his Wife, their one child, and two of our young orphans.

“Through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22)

Conditions are very bad in that part of Kenya, and many are starving. So please continue supporting them, they have a good harvest coming soon. Sweet Potatoes and Maize, but not until October.

Now we also need your prayers. Mokoro (David) Is eighteen years old and has Cirrhosis of the liver. He just finished High School last year and was hoping to attend cooking school. But he is extremely sick. The Doctor said his condition is terminal. Scripture says to seek anointing when sick. So, there is a Pastor “Alan Holt” in Kentucky sending David a “prayed over”, and “oiled” anointing cloth. It was sent on Thursday August 7th. So please join us in prayer for our Heavenly Father to heal David.  His disease is terminal to the Doctors, but easily curable to our Creator.

We need these gifts of the Father to be given out. Scripture says we need to even “covet” the gifts He has for His brethren, like we are told in (1 Corinthians 12:4-31).

Please pray with us for our Heavenly Father to show His Mighty Power, and heal David. We hope He will heal others too. We pray He will hand out those gifts of healing, tongues, miracles, prophecy etc. The church is nearing its completion now. As trouble increases, His little flock is coming together. And just like back in early New Testament times, those wonderful gifts are coming.

The end of the age is upon us Brethren. We all need to be prepared for our lord’s return. We need to be walking this earth “upright”. As long as we love Him (and loving Him is a matter of keeping His commandments.) He will take good care of all of us. (Romans 8:28). And IF, Yes IF we have the hope of meeting our Lord in the air, and standing with Him on the Sea of Glass, we need to “Purify” ourselves. How Pure? As Pure as He (our Lord) is Pure. (1 John 3:3) (Revelation 15:2).

Let me end for now, and post this letter..

Once again, we thank you for your Prayers, and your Support.  And please ask others to consider the important work we are involved in. Our impoverished Brethren need our help. Our “Kenya Update” page goes all the way back to 2006, documenting what your donations have been accomplishing.  It’s a good work that we are involved in. And a work we are commanded to do IF, yes IF we want to be part of the “Pure” and “undefiled” religion before God. (James 1:27).

Thank You.
