Kenya Update
June 14, 2026
Greetings Brethren,
Hope all of you are well? I’m currently working on this Update, and hope to complete it soon. But considering my recent pleas for help. I thought it would be good to send you what I have, so you can better understand the situation amongst our brethren in E. Africa.
First let me thank those of you who have been faithfully assisting our impoverished brethren. Your help is very much appreciated, and continues to accomplish much.
As you cand see in the following pictures, progress is being made.

Cultivating The Bananas.
This is one of the two one-acre gardens. The picture was taken today (June 14, 2026). It’s doing quite well, and will be a huge help once we begin harvesting.
The second one-acre banana garden also needs “digging and dunging” as soon as we have the funds to purchase the dung.
The next picture is what it looked like early this morning before we started cultivating.

Yes, digging and dunging is quite necessary to produce good fruit. We can relate this to our own “Spiritual” growth. Like we are informed by our Lord in (Luke 13:6-9):
“He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard (The “certain man” is our Heavenly Father) and He came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
Then said He unto the dresser of his vineyard (the “dresser of the vineyard” is our Lord and Savior) Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
And He answering said unto Him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.”.
Brethren, helping our impoverished brethren (especially the many orphans and widows) is a good way of us to be producing fruit. Your good works of helping these impoverished poor brethren of ours are “Glorifying” our Heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:16). Good works are good fruit.

Rice & Beans at Getionko.
Notice the labeling on the pot “Rice And Beans Relief Effort” Please don’t misunderstand. The rice and beans came from you donors. There are no other organizations helping our orphans and widows with food and assistance.
Also, please realize that its not just our congregations suffering and in need of help. I spoke to our brethren in “The Great Rift Valley” Bomet and Narok, they told me they are also sleeping hungry. And I received a few other calls’ One from the Miangi family (Long time members of God’s church who live near the Somali border) also sleeping hungry and requesting assistance. (We have assisted them also numerous times in the past with food.) And another call from Lou land, not far from Uganda border. The congregation there are long time members of God’s church (some members going as far back as the ‘Radio” cog.) They told me they are also sleeping hungry.

Manley has just over one year to go, and he will be working as a pilot for “Kenys Airlines”. He is in the top of his class despite all the troubles he has encountered from the constant riots in Kenya.
The following is from his school.
We are encouraged by the strong academic performance reflected in your file and the good grades you have achieved thus far. It is our desire to support your continued progress and help ensure that you are not required to return to the theory phase of training.”
Thank You.
