Greetings everyone,Want to wish you all a happy Sabbath. May the Almighty God keep you and bless you on this Sanctified day He has set apart for us.
We want to thank all of you for continuing to help our impoverished brethren, especially the widows and orphans. Much of the suffering our African Brethren endure on a daily basis has been eased considerably by your help, and by us working together in unity, trying to do good works that can only glorify our Heavenly Father. We have accomplished setting up the Ogembo widow Margaret and her children with a chicken project. KHofH has purchased the material for the building of a coop. Margaret’s eldest son Bernard and Nehemiah have completed it. We have also purchased three hens and one roosted. The family is very happy for this help. A project like this can produce much, and become very beneficial to them.
We are also making good progress on the construction of the new boy’s dormitory. As you can see in the pictures below, the walls are up, and roof rafters are in place and secure. The metal roofing has also been purchased and scheduled to be installed beginning of next week. Also as you can see in the pictures below, the rough electrical and plumbing has also been installed. So the walls are now ready for plastering.
All the progress you see here has already been paid for thanks to you donors. Our agreement with the builder and the various contractors, is to pay as we go. And whatever work we can accomplish ourselves, we are tackling. Like the water tank which supplies water to the entire camp, needs to be raised. The boys will accomplish that themselves as they are well trained and have much experience now in the pouring of concrete, and building concrete pillars. Remember, our goal is to teach each child some kind of trade so they can become self-supportive in the future. The children are developing quite well, and learning much concerning both physical and spiritual matters. Some (like Nehemiah) will probably become a pastor and preacher. He is well versed in the Scriptures, and is quite gifted in preaching. He has been assisting me as we visit the various groups, translating my message into Kiswahili. There are 47 different tribes here in Kenya, and all have their own native language. And most Also speak English being Kenya was a British commonwealth and got their independence in 1963. So how does the Gospel spread here with so many different mother languages? All the tribes are fluent in a third language “Kiswahilli” including Nehemiah, so as we travel around visiting the different tribes, he translates the message, the Gospel of repentance, into their well understood tongue. Why a Gospel of repentance? Because we all need to make our paths (our ways) straight in preparation for our soon coming King. And it’s important for all of us, everyone, to become sheep, one who helps others in their time of need, in their time of affection. Why?. Because that is our Heavenly Father’s way of life, to do good unto others. And sheep will be entering into His Kingdom when Christ returns. Goats, those who do not help others in their time of need will not be allowed to enter into His Kingdom. I’m bringing this up because I want you donors to know what is being taught and preached here. And not only to the children, but to the world that is Within ears distance to us. We also continue to be very careful with the funds received, and still disperse funds according to priority. Currently funds are depleted, but during this past Feast of Tabernacles, more exposure was given to other brethren, informing of the work we are involved in here. So hopefully others will join hands with us in assisting to complete the dormitory, and assisting the widows and orphans. School fees will also come due when school resumes beginning of January. Please continue to pray for us to make every move we make here proper, and according to our Father’s will. Your brother in Christ. |
