Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him and restore him on his bed of languishing (sickness)(yes) restore him from his bed of illness”. (Psalm 41:1-3)
Greetings Brethren,
Our Heavenly Father has so many wonderful blessings that He promises to bestow on them that help our weak and needy brethren. Thanks to you donors, over eight hundred impoverished brethren (men woman and children) attend the Feast of Tabernacles at eight separate sites over in Kenya. All had a wonderful time, with plenty of (both physical and Spiritual) food. Thanks to you donors, the Feast was a very Uplifting Time for our poor Brethren to be together.
Yes, God has blessed all of them, and God will bless all of you for your good works which has glorified Him. Thanks to your prayers and financial support, the brethren had a much needed relief from their normal life of suffering.
At the Feast they had three meals every day for the entire time. And a number of our remote orphans living in the bush were able to come to Sengera and keep the Feast. Nehemiah bought mattresses and placed them on the floor for them to sleep at night. They love it and were so uplifted, happy and inspired to be there. So we thank you donors for making this a WONDERFUL Feast of Tabernacles for them.
The remote orphans from the bush attended Feast of tabernacles in Sengera.
Nehemiah brought the 30 remote orphans living in the bush to the Feast in Sengera. They slept on mattresses on the floor. They were so happy and so excited to be there. This was their first time ever to travel and take a break from their normal routine. God bless all of you who have been donating to Kenya Hands of Hope (khofh) your help enabled all of our widows and orphans to have a Great Feast.
Nehemiah also purchased additional blankets for sleeping.
Remember we are caring for a total of 50 church orphans. 20 live at the Sengera House, and 30 live remotely in the bush, usually with a living grandparent. As we stretch the donations that come in, we have been supplying them (and their Grandparent) with the ingredients to make the nutritional porridge, which they have been surviving on. We occasionally send them additional funds to purchase beans, when funds are available. This is why when your funds come in, they go right back out because the need is great, but the laborers (donors) still are few. And even now, they are again in need of more clothes, including shoes. Remember these are growing children, physically outgrowing their clothes. So please continue to help them, and please continue to inform others of their needs.
Let us remember that our Lord has His Brethren scattered all around this world at this time, and many of them are “the poor”. The ones He often spoke about, reminding us to be helping them.
(Galatians 6:10) (James 1:27) (Luke 14:12-14) (Matthew 25:37-40)
After returning home from the Feast (thanks to your donations) we were able to send them some additional funds to buy flour and salt to make Chapatti’s (a thin pancake of unleavened whole-grain bread cooked on a griddle) and some beans. Normally we only have enough funds available to make nutritional porridge. The porridge can keep them from starving, but how can one tolerate a diet of porridge every day? They have been surviving on mainly porridge for some time now. They send you their heartfelt thanks “Asante Sana” (thank you very much in Swahili) for helping them with some solid food of bread and beans.
Thomas and his four siblings are so appreciative to have bread and beans to eat.
Here they are cooking the chapatti.
Widow Margaret also cooking chapattis for her two orphaned Grandchildren.
Margaret in her kitchen cooking with wood.
Enoch in his kitchen, also cooking chapatti and beans thanks to all of you.
Enoch and Grandma Eunice, so happy to have chapatti and beans.
Emily from the Getionko church cooking chapattis during the Feast.
Getionko Congregating at Feast of Tabernacles.
The Getionko brethren had plenty of food at the Feast, and they are so appreciative to you donors for that. Although they did have a challenge at the Feast (the same challenge they have been enduing every Sabbath when they come together for Sabbath services) they have no toilet. We have financed the digging of many toilets for our impoverished brethren, but still haven’t had enough funds to build one for this group, but they are next on the list for a toilet, soon as funds come available. (We started a “fund raiser” for this purpose, the link is at the bottom of this update.)

Matara and his orphans also attended the Feast in Sengera.
We are still waiting for additional pictures from the other Feast sites, and hope to post them on the next update. For now let us continue praying for humility, and for us to be better stewards. And let us be sure that everything we do is pleasing in our Heavenly Father’s sight. (1 John 3:22)
The horror around this world continues to escalate, with so much fighting, and now these additional atrocities’ from Hamas over in Israel. Soon the Beast power (The last world ruling human Government) depicted by the ten toes (ten Kings) of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, will soon stand up and attempt to bring peace and stability to this troubled world. But Scriptures clearly tells us that more trouble is ahead for mankind, as the Great Tribulation of (Matthew 24:21) approaches. We need to be sure to come out of this world and totally separate ourselves from its untoward ways. Our Lord is soon to return, and He plans to reward everyone according to their works. If we don’t come out, but instead remain and continue partaking of her sins, then we will also partake of her plagues.
(Revelation 18:4) (Revelation 22:12) (Daniel 2:41) (Revelation 17:12-13)
What we want to hear is found in Scriptures like:
(Matthew 25:21) “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
(2 Timothy 4:8) “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
Are we among them Brethren? Are we among the Brethren who will “love His appearing”? His church is a Spiritual organization, but it can be clearly identified with the naked eye. We all know how Paul describes the church (the one and only True church, also defined by our Lord Himself as His “little flock”) It all has to do with Truth.
(1 Timothy 3:15) “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God (And most importantly) the pillar and ground of the truth.
The church is the pillar and ground of the Truth. So you can locate the True church by locating the Truth, the True beliefs, the True doctrines. (Nothing new there.)
So let us be searching Truth, and then (most importantly) let us be walking in Truth. And that takes much caution here, because Scripture clearly tells us that during these “end times” many are being led astray, and may not escape the plagues that are coming.
A message was given at the Feast that addresses this important issue titled: “Heresy or Damnable Heresy”. If you want to hear it, the link is at the bottom of this update.
Let me mention one more thing concerning our current finances, they are depleted. And we need to send out the funds needed for the ingredients to make more porridge. So as always, if you can continue helping, please do so. Thanks to you (God of course) they had a wonderful feast, but now its back to trying to survive from starvation. Thank you.
Again we thank you donors for all the wonderful help you have been giving to our widows, orphans, and impoverished brethren, you continue to ease their suffering significantly. May our Almighty Father bless each and every one of you abundantly
Your brother in Christ Jesus.
