And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18).
Greetings Brethren,
What an exciting time to be alive, as end time prophecies are transpiring now, on our watch. Let us not be asleep concerning the signs of the times in which we are living. Two thousand years ago, our Lord began to build His Church, His little flock. But now, He is in the process of completing it. Yes, soon, His bride will have made herself ready, and the marriage of the Lamb will come. (Revelation 19:7).
(Matthew 24:8) “The Beginning of Sorrows” has already begun. We are now (and have been for a while) experiencing the birthing pains of the coming Kingdom of God. The troubles we see around this world, will only continue to increase. This is not false labor, this is real.
There is a Powerful Warning given to God’s church by our Lord, that needs to be heeded at this time. It’s in (Luke 21:34-36).
“Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.“
Brethren, the “Midnight Cry” of (Matthew 25:6) is approaching. That Midnight Cry is the same cry spoken of in (Revelation 10:3) which brings us to current times. (Revelation 10:1-11) Shows us exactly what is about to befall this end time world in which we are living. And the unprecedented storm of (Matthew 24:21) is in the forecast. I hope our “High Calling” is on the front burner of our lives, and that we are the “Wise” virgins of (Matthew 25:2-4) filing our lamps, filling our vessels, with the oil of Truth. Truth is what the oil in that parable represents, not Spirit. This parable not only warns us to be ready for our Lord’s return, and prepared for what is coming, but also tells us exactly how to prepare.
The parable of the Ten Virgins consists of only 12 verses, but those 12 verses may be the most important and valuable verses in the entire Bible concerning the church, and our being ready for our Lord’s return. There is a Scriptural short study on that titled: “Parable of The Ten Virgins.” The link is at the bottom of this update.

Rebecca Returning Home – Graduated H.S.
Four more of our Girls, and one boy “Francis” have now graduated H.S. and are returning to their homes. Each is moving back to live with a Grandparent. We took many of the orphans in when their parent’s died, and their Grandparents were unable to support them. Now the tide has reversed. They have lived at Sengera House, where they attended the local elementary school, and then moved on to four years of High School. (The Kenya Government assigns each child to a boarding school according to ability.) Now Rebecca, Anita, Niome, Maureen and Francis. Are living back home.

Rebecca and Grandma Helen.

Our Kenyan brethren live quite modestly to say the least. They usually have two structures which they call houses. One for sleeping in and the other for cooking. Some are two poor to have two houses, so they cook and sleep in the same house. This is the case here, with Rebecca, they sleep and cook in that one little house. They still need our help. Life is quite difficult for our impoverished brethren. The donations that some of you consistently send, go directly to easing their many afflictions, their sufferings. I don’t thank you enough, but please realize they are still struggling, and often sleeping hungry . your donations are helping them much, but there are many. We are still caring for 42 orphans and 19 widows. And these brethren, are not “Seventh Day Adventist” (SDA). Some of these brethren’s background goes back to the “Radio” cog. SDA don’t keep the Holy Days. But the brethren you have been supporting do keep Sabbath and Holy Days. And most importantly, they are of the “House Hold of Faith”. (Galatians 6:10). Yes, they are the ones this Scripture is telling us to help in the “greatest degree”. That word “Especially” is Strong’s # G3122 meaning; most – (in the greatest degree) chiefly.
The dire situation here amongst our impoverished brethren, reminds me of the need for funds back in earlier church times. Remember Peter and John told the lame man that they had no silver or gold. But funds were still needed to operate, and to help those in need. Some jumped right in to help. (Acts 4:32-35). Brethren, I’m not asking anyone to sell their house, but if you have plenty and can help, please do so, these precious orphans and widows of ours are suffering, and crying out for help. Our regular donors have already gone “above and beyond”. But the need is great. Let us pray to our Lord to send forth more laborers into His harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38).

Naomi Returning Home – Graduated H.S.

Naomi and Siblings Maria and Jane.
Naomi sends the following to you donors. (Many of her words, her attitude, describes the others orphan’s you donors have been assisting. They too have much gratitude to you donors for the help you have been giving them. They are all quite humble,
“Hi Papa.
It’s Naomi. I come from the border under the church of God ministry.
In the picture above, is my younger siblings on the right hand she’s Jane and left side Maria.
The house that you see above it is our house, where I was born. It is very old mud house. has holes on the iron sheets sometimes drops of rain fall inside when we are in. We are simply even cooking inside that small house, and it is full of smoke everywhere inside.
Life at home was very bad, before I came to Sengera we had nothing, until I moved to Sengera House, when life got much more comfortable, better eating well, going to school, wearing nice clothes, staying permanent good house, using gas when cooking, having water in the compound, clinics and more. I really appreciate you papa and you donors for good help until now I have grown. You have cared for me until I have finished my school. This is so wonderful of you.
Now I’m back home to my village at the border life is totally difficult but I have to accept, going to the river I take like 1 hour back and forth to fetch water, cooking we use three stones and we have to go forest to fetch firewood, our house is made of mud and it’s very old. but I appreciate because it is our home, and I have to help my grandparent since she is very old. and having health issues.
Thank you I appreciate you Papa and Donors. We always pray for all of you, always, and thank God for our everything.
Naomi.”
As I often say, the need to help our orphans and widows (and our other poor brethren) living in these 3rd world countries is great. And your donations continue to ease the suffering of many here in Kenya. But the need is great. Even now we are trying our best to supply Naomi (and the other graduates who moved back home to take care of their Grandparent with assistance.) We need to purchase some bunk beds, so they and siblings will not continue sleeping on the ground. So far, in the past few days, we sent them blankets, pots, pans etc. As funds come in, they go right back out. We have even bought for them some fire wood for cooking. It’s quite inexpensive, but a Hugh help to them, especially when they often get bit by poisonous snakes when collecting wood from the forest. Kenya, Africa is full of poisonous snakes, poisonous spiders and many other dangers.
It is true that their suffering will not end until our Lord returns, and God’s Kingdom is set up. But for now, let us please continue to assist these orphans and widows, it’s the right thing to do. many are still crying out for help. We need others to join hands with us. Please let us pray the Lord of the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38). That word “harvest” is Strong’s # G2326 meaning crop. That’s who these orphans and widows are, part of His crop. And they suffer a lot. Kenya is a rough place for the poor. and even rougher for an orphan. If others only knew of the suffering, they would help.
The Apostle John tells us: “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” (1 John 3:17).
And Paul tells us: “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10).
Even now our funds are depleted, and they are needing supplies. Also, Douglas is requesting assistance for his orphans. And John Magara’s well pump has gone bad. He needs $300.00 to replace it. There now walking “far” to fetch and carry water back. And John and his wife are caring many orphans themselves.
All of your donations reach the target. And none have died of starvation in Month’s now, but I fear some will die this week. The need is still great. So please don’t get weary in well doing:
Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:9-10).

Anita and Grandmother Josephine.

Anita Cooking.
I received a letter from Manley today, he has been going through a very difficult time due to the riots in his area of Kenya, and the many “Flash Floods”. that his area has been experiencing . They have been plague with these floods for a few Month’s now. He was also arrested once again and assaulted by the police. They demanded money from him, but he did not comply. So they beat him up, broke his arm, and his phone. Below is his letter:
Dear baba and Donors, I trust that you are doing well. I am writing to express my sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the continuous support you extend not only to me, but also to the widows, elders, and orphans across Kenya. Your generosity is a lifeline to many, and the kindness you show has brought hope, dignity, and comfort to people who face immense challenges every day. Truly, your impact is far-reaching and deeply felt.
At the moment, I am still in school and currently undertaking my end-semester examinations, which are expected to finish in early December. I remain committed to my studies and focused on completing this academic period successfully, and I am fully aware that your support has made it possible for me to remain in school. For that, I am deeply grateful.
“I must also share that I have recently been going through a difficult time. I have faced several challenges with the authorities around here, and in a recent incident, I ended up with a broken arm. (The authorities beat Manley up, broke his arm and broke his phone.) It has been physically painful and emotionally exhausting, especially while trying to balance my studies. These past days have been heavy, and at times, overwhelming. But in all of it, I have been holding on to faith, trusting that God sees everything we are going through.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18This verse has been a source of strength for me during this period. It reminds me that even in hardship, God remains near, and He gives us the courage to endure. Many people around us are suffering, and Kenya Hands of Hope is overwhelmed with the great need that exists. I understand that the burden is heavy, and I truly appreciate the sacrifices made to support so many individuals who are struggling.
Once again, thank you very much for your kindness, compassion, and dedication to helping those in need. You have touched the lives of many families, and your support continues to bring light into very difficult situations. May God bless you richly for every effort you make, and for the hope you give to those who would otherwise have none.
With sincere gratitude,
Menley Mochama.“

Sweet Potato.
The sweet potatoes Bernard planted have now been harvested. They are in the process of distributing to all the brethren. Some have been once again going days at a time with no eating. We are still struggling. We managed to distribute the potatoes to most of our brethren, but all they have to eat is the sweet potatoes. The need is still great amongst them. No sugar, no flour, no anything. They need more help.

They are busy washing the potatoes, before securing them.
Many in the area are also starving, and thieves and bandits run rampant at night. You may recall a few Month back we reported how one of our widows house was broken into during the night. The young orphan she cares for tried to fight them off, but his little body was no match for them, and they whipped him.

Yes, our poor impoverished brethren are really suffering. Especially the orphans and widows. Our “Kenya Update” page goes all the way back to 2006 showing where the donations are going, and what they have been accomplishing, as your good works continue to glorify our Heavenly Father. We are not cons, and no one here is on any payroll, all your donations reach the target. And we have no hundreds of thousand, or millions of dollars sitting in our church bank account. We have only starving brethren that desperately need our help. As funds come in, they go right back out, because the need is great. Please inform others of the need. If others only knew of the suffering, they would help.
I just received the following from Douglas:”Pastor, I want to share with you the difficult situation I am currently facing. My family and I are under great pressure from the authorities, who are threatening to arrest us because of the hospital bill and the ongoing needs of the widows and orphans under our care. (The hospital bill is for two orphans who were bit by poisonous snakes, and treated at the hospital a few days ago) Because of these challenges, my family has been forced to hide in the maize field for the past five days. We are struggling with severe hunger, and the stress has made my ulcers much worse. At times, I feel overwhelmed and almost unable to continue caring for the widows and orphans because my health is becoming very poor. Douglas.”
I pray that Douglas and some of our other orphans and widows don’t die tonight, but they are on the brink of it once again. The need is great. The sweet potatoes we planted at Douglas’ group is ready for harvest, But our brethren don’t even have the strength to harvest. They have no strength because they have no food. they are literally starving to death. Please inform others of the desperate need. If others only knew of the suffering, they would help. Our regular donors have continually been going above and beyond, And much suffering has been eased, But the suffering is once again dire, and very few brethren in the cog even know this suffering exists. I pray that they find out, because if others knew of the suffering, they would help.
Bibles also continue to be purchased and distributed to those in need.

James, displaying some recently purchased Bibles that are to be distributed.
Please continue to pray for our impoverished brethren, and continue to help if you can. And please try to inform others of the need. (They are suffering so bad right now.) And please let us pray “Thy Kingdom Come” because many all around this world are suffering, some horrendously.
Thank You.
