Greetings Brethren,
I hope all of you are well, and that our Heavenly Father is providing for all of your needs. I often think of that Scripture in (Matthew 6:7-8) where our Lord reminds us that our Father knows what things we are in need of, before we even ask Him. I need to update you on some of the current needs of our orphans, and the condition of our impoverished brethren. The children will soon begin their 2nd term. We are hoping to raise funds for school fees. Previously we were being assisted with school fees from an outreach, but that was only temporary assistance, and has now ended. There are 20 students total, some in elementary school, others in High School. These are the orphans we have been caring for. School fees per child, (which including exam fees, and school trip fee) total about $350 per child.
In Kenya orphans are considered worthless. But not to God, and not to us. We treasure them, and It’s our duty to take care of them. (James 1:27). And not only feed and clothed them, but parent them the best we can, they are our children. So if you can help, or continue to help in supporting them, please do so. All the donations are helping so much.
Our impoverished brethren are still suffering. It’s been the worst couple of years of suffering I’ve seen in Kenyan since my “feet on the ground” back in 2005, that’s over 20 years ago. Currently we have been struggling to keep them alive, even with porridge, The need continues to be great, but the helpers are still few. Sometimes I wonder if God allows them to suffer, just to see who will help them.
This suffering is amongst many of our brethren living in various places around Kenya. We have a blind widower in the “Great Rift Valley” a long time member of God’s church suffering right now with no food, and literally starving to death. He attends the Merigi congregation in Bomet county. I even received a call today from the Miangi family (also long time members of God’s church, baptized many years ago in the WWC.) They live not far from the Somali border, and are also in need of food.
On our end (thanks to you donors) we are making progress, trying to get on our feet, like I mentioned in my last letter. We are currently planting our second one-acre garden with more bananas. Once we begin harvesting bananas, our starvation issue will be much eased. As for now, many are sleeping hungry.

2nd Banana Garden Planted April 14, 2026.
Let us also realize that suffering is a daily occurrence for many (if not most) of our brethren living in these 3rd world countries. Those of us (especially those of us living in total comfort) need to consider our poor brethren around this world. Many have been crying out for help for a long time. But not many are even aware of their suffering. (1 John 3:17). Our Lord said the poor we will have with us always. Let us help them the best we can. If others knew of the suffering, they would help. Thank God for those of you who do know, and have been helping, and continuing to go above and beyond. Your reward surely awaits you.
Let me end for now, and get this letter out. I want to thank you donors, I don’t thank you often enough, but as your funds come in, they continue to go right back out. So please know that your assistance is much appreciated by our impoverished Brethren, and making an impact. May our Almighty Father Bless you Abundantly.
Bill Goff.
