Greetings Brethren.
I hope all of you are well, as we patiently await the return of our Lord and Savior.
As mentioned in recent letters, and updates, our orphans, widows and impoverished brethren are going through a very difficult time. We have been making progress, and all of the gardens (including the two one-acre gardens of bananas) are continuing to grow, and are doing quite well. But currently times are very difficult, our funds are once again depleted.
Below is a letter I just received from Dauglas:
“Dear Pastor Bill and Our Dearly Beloved Donors,
Warm greetings to you all in the precious and wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that God is keeping you, your families, and your ministries in His peace and grace.
I am writing to you today with a deeply heavy heart concerning the orphans and widows in our Getionko Group. Their current situation has become extremely difficult. They have no food supplies and are lacking other basic necessities. Some of them have become very weak because of hunger, and their cries for help are heartbreaking.
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.” Proverbs 19:17
Pastor Bill, I kindly ask you to share this urgent message with our beloved donors. Please let them know that the situation is overwhelming, but we have not lost hope. We remember with deep gratitude everything they have done before. Their generosity has provided food, comfort, dignity, and hope to people who had nowhere else to turn.
Dear donors, please do not think that your previous help was ever too small or insignificant. Every contribution became a meal, every act of kindness became encouragement, and every prayer reminded these orphans and widows that they are not forgotten. Because of your compassion, they have experienced God’s love through people who chose to stand with them.
Today, we humbly ask you to consider standing with them once again. They urgently need food and basic supplies, and any support you are able to give can make a meaningful difference. We understand that everyone has their own challenges, and we are not asking anyone to give beyond their ability. We simply ask you to remember these vulnerable lives and help in whatever way God places upon your heart.
Please continue praying with us. We believe that even in this difficult moment, God is able to open a door and provide a way where there seems to be no way. We are holding on to faith, but we also believe that God can use compassionate people like you to become part of the answer to this urgent need.
Thank you, Pastor Bill, for helping us communicate this situation. And to every beloved donor who has ever supported these children and widows, thank you for not giving up on them. Your love has already changed lives, and we pray that together we can continue bringing hope to those who are crying for help.
May the Lord bless you, strengthen you, provide for you, and reward your kindness abundantly.

Not only are Dauglas’ orphans suffering, but others are also sleeping hungry. I know I’m always looking more help, but the need is genuine. We need others in God’s church to become aware of the suffering.
Below is what I added to the last update posted July 19, 2026 for those who haven’t seen it. It’s a bit bold, but it’s the truth.
“Brethren, please don’t get weary in well doing. The help you have been giving our suffering brethren has helped them tremendously, and progress continues to be made. All of their gardens are growing quite well, and will help them tremendously once harvest begins. But for now, they need more help. Hunger is still prevalent, and their afflictions are still many. John Magara is still in Hospital sleeping on the floor, and sleeping hungry. I spoke to him short time ago. He reminded me that his wife, children, and the eight orphans they care for, are also sleeping hungry. (They are literally starving to death as we speak.) Likewise with Dauglas and the 20 orphans and 5 widows in the Getionko congregation, they also are suffering severely, sleeping hungry, and close to death. Times are really rough right now.
Brethren, we are doing the right thing in helping these orphans and widows, it’s that pure and undefiled religion spoken of by James in (James 1:27). The help you are giving them continues to be wonderful. But let us continue to inform others in God’s church, of the dire situation, and ask them to join hands with us, because Many of our brethren are currently suffering horrendously. The majority BY FAR of the brethren in the church have no clue of our impoverished brethren’s suffering. If they only know, they would help. But getting past their pulpits, getting the “leaders” of many of the cog groups to inform their brethren of the suffering, will take a miracle. Why? Because men have the church divided into hundreds of separate groups, isolated from one another. When we should be united by the Holy Spirit of our Heavenly Father. Especially now, with orphans and widows literally starving to death.
Brethren, let us not be fooled by men. In God s eyes, there are only two groups out there, yes two. The wise and the foolish, the sheep and the goats. Which group one resides in, is one’s own choice. And much caution needs to be taken here, because the wise virgins will be going into the marriage, but the foolish virgins will not. (Matthew 25:10-12). And the sheep will be entering into the Kingdom, but the goats will not. (Matthew 25:33-34) (Matthew 25:41).
So please, continue to help our suffering brethren, and please continue to pray for others to hear their cry. And please continue to pray for our leaders over there. There are four orphans in their last year of High school, and the next semester starts in just a few days. If the school fees are not paid, Nehemiah will once again be arrested, and thrown in jail. The authorities show no mercy, not even to orphans and widows. Most of us here in these wealthier countries, cannot fathom the depth of our impoverished brethren suffering, living in that 3rd world country.
And let us remember that helping our poor brethren brings blessings. (Psalm 41:1) says: “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will help him in time of trouble.” And (1 John 3:17) says: “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother hath need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him. how dweleth the love of God in him?”
Brethren, let us not be content in this world, our citizenship is elsewhere. Let us heed the words of Peter (which still holds true to this day) when he exhorted those who were being called by the Almighty Father, to save themselves from this evil age in which we are living. (Acts 2:40-45). Notice in verse 45, that even back then when the New Testament church began, some were in need, and others helped them.”
We thank God for those of you who continue to help, your prayers, and your donations have been keeping them physically alive. As for their Spiritual condition, they remain the same as James told us, “Heirs” to the Kingdom, and “Rich” in Faith (James 2:5). May our Almighty Father bless you abundantly.
