Donor Letter August 9, 2026.

Greetings Brethren,

Thanks to your continued support, the orphan’s gardens are looking good. Pictured below is Enoch. He is growing cabbage, kale and tomatoes.

Anita is Growing Kale and Cabbage.

Mourine is Growing Beans.

The orphan’s learned how to grow crops while living at Sengera House.

We divided this field into small plots back then, and they each chose their own crop to grow.

Francis on the Left, Manley middle, and Timothy on the right is harvesting his Peanuts.

This Picture Includes Enoch, Mourine, Manley, Timothy, Francis, and Anita. They all grew up at Sengera House and Graduated Grammar School, and High School.

Living in Kenya, they have very little opportunity to find jobs, but they are content as peasant farmers, living with and caring for their Elderly Grandmothers. Their life is hard, but they are happy, as they await the return of our Lord and Savior, and the wonderful Kingdom of God that is approaching.

Getionko Orphans Sabbath August 8, 2026.

Brethren, Thanks to your continued support, progress is being made. But we still need your help. We are still experiencing difficult times. The Getionko orphans are out of food. Also, a few days ago, one of the their orphans (Alex) was attacked by a rabies dog. He was taken to the hospital. Thanks to our Creator, the child recovered well, and is awaiting discharge. But they didn’t have the funds to pay, so the police arrested Dauglas’ wife Judy today. (Dauglas wasn’t home at the time.) She is going through a very difficult time in jail. The authorities show no mercy, and have no regard for orphans.

Also, widow Margaret, took one of her orphans to the hospital who was suffering from Pneumonia.  The child has also recovered, but Margret didn’t have the funds to pay. So, the Hospital put Margret and the child on the floor, and admitted a new patient into the bed. In Kenya most Hospitals (like this one) do not feed their patients food. So, Margaret and the child are sleeping on the Hospital floor, and depending on others to bring them something to eat.

Also, John Magara was hospitalized. He also, didn’t have the funds to pay. So, he too has been pushed out of his Hospital bed, and onto the floor. I received a message from him today, stating that his orphans at home, are literally starving.

So, please don’t get weary in well doing. Our impoverished brethren really suffer, and still need our help. Some feel that we should only help these orphans and widows with food. But (James 1:27) says: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world”. Our poor impoverished widows and orphans have many afflictions.

So, please continue to pray for them, and please continue to support them if you can. And most importantly, let us pray “Thy Kingdom Come”.

Thank You.

Bill Goff.

Donor Letter August 14, 2026:

Greetings Brethren,

I hope and pray that you are well, as we patiently await the return of our Lord and Savior. The increasing troubles around this world will not end until the Kingdom of God is finally established here on earth. Let us pray for that Kingdom to come soon, because many are suffering, and some horrendously.

In my last letter dated August 9, 2026 I noted that Dauglas’ wife Judy was arrested due to an unpaid hospital bill for young orphan Alex who was attacked by a rabies dog. I am happy to report that thanks to your help, Judy has been released from jail, (and with only minor injuries after being assaulted by another inmate) and Alex is now discharged and home.

Widow Margaret is still in the hospital and still sleeping on the Hospital floor with orphan Thomas who was suffering from Pneumonia. We have been struggling to keep them fed. As I previously mentioned, the Hospital does not feed their patients, it’s the responsibility of a family member or friend.

Also, John Magara is still in the Hospital, and his orphans are sleeping hungry.

Brethren, as previously mentioned in some of the past Updates, we are going through one of the roughest time since I first traveled to Kenya back in 2005. I feel that Satan is attacking us.

I just received the following from Dauglas:

“Hello Pastor, I want to let you know that the orphans and widows are going through a very difficult time right now. Some of the orphans have gone to the river to wash their clothes, but others are hungry and weak, and home, lying in bed without the strength to do anything. Please keep us in your prayers.”

Getionko Orphan’s Washing Clothes.

Now progress is being made, I hope you saw the wonderful pictures in my previous letter of the gardens, and how well they are growing? https://khofh.com/donor-letter-august-9-2026/

The problem continues to be the same, the need is great, but the donors are few. Please continue to help if you can, and please inform others of the suffering.

And please continue to pray for our overseers, they are constantly under the threat of arrest. Even now the authorities are demanding some minor repairs need to be made at Sengera House camp, but we are once again out of funds. If we don’t address the issue soon, Nehemiah will once again be arrested.

Sincerely.

Bill Goff

Donor Letter August 16, 2026.

Greetings once again Brethren,

In my last letter dated August 14, 2026 I reported on how our Kenyan Brethren have been going through a very difficult time. Now, I want to update you.

Widow Margaret is no longer sleeping on the Hospital floor; she was arrested and is now in jail, sleeping on the jail floor. The boy is still on the Hospital floor.

John Magara is still in the Hospital, and Dauglas’ orphans are still sleeping hungry. (Some are on the verge of death from starvation.) Dauglas is texting me right now, stating that some of the orphans are too weak to even speak.

Now, to top all this, Nehemiah was arrested yesterday (Sabbath morning) he spent all of yesterday, last night, and part of today locked up. We were able to inform some of you, and thanks to your prayers, he was just released. We found out why he was arrested. Apparently, we owed a fee for some school assignments for one of the orphans, but hadn’t paid it. They have now given us three days to pay the school assignment bill, or he will be back in jail.

Now some have given up on helping these widows and orphans, while others have continued to go above and beyond. It troubles me deeply to have to inform you of all this. I feel I’m a very bad steward. But the need is legit, and 100% of all donations go to our suffering brethren. I pray every day, asking our Heavenly Father and our Lord, to guide me, and lead me to distribute the funds properly. But, as I always say “The needs of our orphans, widows and poor impoverished brethren over there, is great, but very few are aware of the suffering, and helping.

Please continue to pray about this dire situation, and please continue to help IF you can. (1 John 3:17). Please remember, we are living at a time when the love of many “has” waxed cold. And most importantly please pray “Thy Kingdom Come”.

Thank you,

Bill Goff
