Greetings Brethren,
Let me start today’s report by thanking you for continuing to help our impoverished Brethren, especially the orphans and widows. They are very grateful for your help, and they thank our Heavenly Father for answering their prayers. Hunger is a terrible thing, very painful. Your donations continue to ease much of their suffering.
Thanks to our Lord and Savior, who continues to lead His church by the Father’s Holy Spirit, much good fruit continues to be produced. The work we are involved in is a good work, which continues to glorify the Father. The church’s commission is to preach the Gospel to the world (Matthew 28:19-20) (Mark 16:15)
And to “feed the flock which is among you”. (1 Peter 5:2)
But let us not forget (James 1:27) and (Galatians 6:10)
The help you are giving our brethren, is commendable, it’s the pure religion that James is talking about. And its the “quality” of a sheep, one who is busy “doing” helping his brethren with whatever is needed. (Matthew 25:40) (Matthew 25:31-46)
So we thank you donors, it’s a pleasure to be working with you. Let us continue looking to our Lord and Savior to lead our every step. His flock is small, but they hear His voice, and follow only Him. Following Him brings unity, so let us pray for His mind to be in us. (Philippians 2:5)
In (Acts 3:11) and (Acts 5:12) we see a time when many signs and wonders were wrought by the hands of the apostles, when they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.
Do you know the significance of Solomon’s Porch? Solomon’s Porch consisted of a colonnade of Pillars. Those Pillars represent the Pillars in the church, His Firstfruits. The Pillars are perfectly plumb, upright and connected at the top by the entablature. The entablature is another “Upright” Pillar, but placed across the top connecting all the individual Pillars together. The entablature is our Lord of course. And IF (lot of ifs in the Bible) If we want to be a Pillar and directly connected to Him, we need to be upright.
The building of His church is soon to be completed. Soon our Lord will be handing out those gifts. We need to be walking upright, and of one accord with Him. The book of Acts events are kind of moving backwards now. Headed back to our day, the day of Pentecost. (Let’s elaborate on that later) A big work is ahead for His church. The “day of Christ” was not at hand back during the Thessalonians’ day, but it is at hand today. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2)
These “end times” in which we are living in, continues to accelerate at a rapid pace. Many end time prophecies are on the move. Even the ten toes of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel chapter 2 are present. (The 10 Kings are now rising up to form the last world ruling empire, the ones who will give their power to the Beast.) The world is soon to be totally controlled by the coming Beast power. The dividing of regions has been planned for a long time, and soon to become operational. (Revelation 17:12)
Just look at what is transpiring on the Continent of Africa. All its 54 or so States (or countries) have now not only joined the African Union (AU) but have also given their power to it. Their unity fits the Scriptures, even their bond is not good, but iron mixed with clay. AU is one of the 10 Kings. (Daniel 2:42)
Brethren all I’m trying to say is that we need our High Calling on the front burner of our life. We need to be watching, because our Lord says He will be returning “quickly”. Just look at the next verse (Daniel 2:44) and see some upcoming events, that will be coming upon us quickly, in the not too distant future.
The Kingdom of God is soon to be established. That setting up or establishing will take place up on the Sea of Glass. That Kingdom has not been established yet (how could it when many of its officials are still asleep in the grave, Like the Apostles, Moses etc.) But it will be established soon, at the end of the coming Great tribulation, while the Beast is still reigning. (Revelation 15:1) shows the time table. (End of Great Tribulation, and before “Day of the Lord”.
(Revelation 15:2) Shows the saints standing on the Sea of Glass along with our Lord. The Marriage, the giving of positions etc. will take place up there. But most importantly notice what they all have in common, They were all overcomers, conquerors. Only those whose sinful natures have been turned (or changed) into the Holy Righteous Character of the Father will be there. Let us remember, the “wise” virgins go into the Marriage, but the “foolish” virgins do not. (Matthew 25:10-12)
And remember that “oil” the wise virgins are filling up on does not represent our Creator’s Holy Spirit, It represents “Truth”. Parable of The Ten Virgins
Food being delivered by motorbike.
Donations have been up, so we were able to supply all off the remote orphans and widows with additional food. And many now have started gardens as you will see pictured in this report.
Rigo Shade
You might remember the “Rigo” church. The ones who have no “shade” no meeting hall to congregate. They have been meeting not only under the trees to keep from the burning sun, but on the side of a cliff. A previous update concerning the Rigo Congregation that elaborates on that can be found at: https://khofh.com/page/6/
They have begun building a hall for congregating. We (khofh) were able to help them with some iron sheets for the roof. The construction has been accomplished by the brethren themselves. They only needed a little help, and thanks to you, they got it.
Rigo Planting Beans and Maize (corn).
Thanks to your donations, we were able to supply more of the widows, orphans, and congregations with seeds. We also supplied them with sugar and beans so they would have enough strength to dig in their gardens.
We also continue teaching the orphans some trades or skills, for them to hopefully become self supportive. As many of you know, we have been teaching the orphans many trades like electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and more. Even when the kitchen counter needed to be tiled, we didn’t hire an outside contractor, we bought a wet saw and tiled it ourselves. Now we are involving them in a kind of upholstery. Our cafeteria at Sengera House has 4 tables and 20 chairs. The chairs were in poor condition due to the poor vinyl quality that they were originally made with. Instead of hiring someone to refurbish them, we are doing it ourselves with more “hands on” for the orphans to learn.
Sanding comes first.
That’s Patrick and Francis hard at work.
Ibu (Brian) and Timothy replacing the chair cushions. We’re using good quality vinyl, and they are doing a good job.
They are learning to be meticulous in all their work.
They’re coming along quite nice.
Let’s continue praying for us to become humble and better stewards. We need to be sure that everything we do is pleasing in His sight. We need to continue assisting these widows (They are elderly and too old to dig.) and we need to continue helping these young orphans. We are mother and father to them, and have been for many years now. So please don’t give up in well doing. (Galatians 6:9-10).
Thank you.
