| Greetings Brethren,Greetings from Kenya. Hope all of you are well, and continue to be blessed by our Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son as we patiently await His glorious return. We all have much to thank the Almighty and to pray for, but the top of our list is for His Kingdom to come. So many around this world are suffering, some horrendously. There is no cure, there is no solution, to this world’s heart aches other that the coming reign of our Lord and Savior.
We here at Sengera House are doing well and have good news to report concerning the construction of the new boys dormitory. The work has been moving ahead at a steady pace. As you can see in the pictures below, the roof is now on. We have also successfully completed enlarging the capacity of, and raising the water tank.
As many of you know, the children are much involved in the construction here, and are learning many trade skills. Kenya Hands of Hope (KHofH) also continues in assisting a number of our widows. Thanks to your donations we were able to start a chicken project for both the widow Margaret Morra in Ogembo Kenya, and the widow Anna in Nyamaruma Kenya. Margaret and her four children are very thankful to you donors for assisting them. They have already been blessed with additional 13 chicks that have already hatched.
KHofH has also been able to assist the Benjamin Bet family with some food assistance, and they thank you donors for that. They were evacuation victims of the Mau forest, located in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. If you recall, a number of our brethren were driven off their land and had to take refuge in the forest. It was a very difficult time for them, even having to bury two of their children in the wood who died from exposure to the harsh elements. We want to thank those of you who have been donating and assisting our impoverished brethren living in this 3rd world country (especially the widows and orphans.) Your help is Highly appreciated, and not taken to granted. None of your funds have been swindled or wasted in any way. We pray constantly (and solicit your prayers) that we utilize the funds properly, and are good stewards. And I can assure you we are doing our best to disperse funds according to priority. Last week we ran out of funds and took no supper or breakfast the following day, due to what we dispersed to complete the construction of the roof (not one of the children complained, they know what it is to go without, and they are so overjoyed to see the progress of the new house.) We are still hoping to complete the construction before the children return to school in January. But that will be determined by what funds become available. We have asked help from one of the largest cog organizations who has an “outreach” program, and we are waiting their reply. I would like to end with one more thing. It is a letter of thanks from Manley, written to all of you donors: First I will thank my God for he is doing great things in my life through you. Long live my donors for your free heart that care, love and full concern to us. Through your support, we dress decent, eat well, sleep nice and even get a good education. Always praying for you. We were hopeless with no future vision but through you, I can foretell my future, be blessed. I was attacked by jiggers, I was very dirty but through your support, am turning white, am of good health due to when we are sick, an immediate action is taken, Thank you donors. Our Lord is very faithful to those who are after his services and blessings too.
