We are still in need of their upcoming school fees.
We have also been informed by the authorities that they want the boy’s house, cafeteria, kitchen, and store room painted on the exterior. The orphans are ready, willing and able to tackle that project now, before they return to school, but currently we lack the funds to purchase the materials.
If you can possibly help, please do so. Many of our brethren continue to suffer, because the need is great. But very few brethren in the “churches” of God are aware of the suffering. Only a small amount of brethren have been helping, and the need is great. And as I have said many times, this part of the letter is not for those of you who have already been helping. Most of you donors have been helping these orphans and widows for a long time. (And many of you go “above and beyond” all the time.) You have helped them so much. Your Love is surely “Agape”. Scripture says you will be rewarded well (and soon) by our Lord.
But once again, we need a little boost, especially with school fees coming due, and the exterior painting of the cafeteria etc. that the authorities are demanding . So I’m reaching out to others for help. Remember, we have been caring for about fifty church orphans and twelve widows. And that’s a difficult thing to do in a world where (at these end times in which we are living) good is called bad and bad good. On top of that, countries here consider one guilty until proven innocent (or most often until a bribe is paid). Life can be very rough here for our brethren, who are often arrested, as noted in the current update. (The link is below.)
We continue asking for your prayers for protection. Our prayer is that Nehemiah doesn’t spend any more time incarcerated. (He had been arrested at least three times over the years and in teargas twice. The authorities here now hold him accountable for the orphanage and its children. As many of you know, that position landed deceased Haron in jail more times than I can remember. (And there’s no exaggeration here on the numbers.)
Let us also please pray the prayer which our Lord instructed us to pray in these difficult end times. (Luke 10:2)
“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborers (workers) are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into His harvest.”
The needs of our impoverished brethren over there are still great, and yes, laborers are still few. That verse applies to the work we are involved in, and the times in which we are now living. We have impoverished brethren living in these 3rd world countries that really suffer, and need help.
In Kenya we have been able to help many of our orphans and widows for a long time, thanks to our Wonderful, Dedicated and Loving Donor’s. But the need is great. (Remember almost half of the population in that country are children under the age of 14.) And many are orphans, like we have in all of the congregations there. So I’m asking for others to join hands with us in helping, to ease their suffering like we are instructed in (James 1:27).
The problem is that the “majority” of the brethren in the various “churches” of God, are not aware of our brethren’s suffering and cry for help. If they were informed, many would help. But they are not aware, why? Because we are living at a time when men have the “church” divided into hundreds of separate groups, even isolated from one another.
My hope in this letter is for you to let others know that we have orphans and widows that are suffering and need our help.
If the brethren in the various “churches” of God only knew of the suffering, they would help.
But they do not know because many (if not most) of their “leaders” not only reject us at the door, but will not allow their members to even be aware of the suffering that their impoverished brethren are enduring. In the Apostle John’s time there was only “one” Diotrephes’, but today there are many. (3 John 1:9-11)
Men have the “church” divided into hundreds of separate splinters, But in God’s eyes, there are only “two” groups out there. Yes, two, the wise and the foolish, the sheep and the goats. (Which group one resides in is ones our choice.) But make no doubt about it, the Goats and the foolish are headed for Big Trouble.
The work we are involved in is a good work, and producing good fruit. (And it’s well documented over many years, on our “Update” page.) So please have a look, and if you can, please help. We are not cons. (1 John 3:17-18)
Thank You.
