Greetings,
Thank you, Brethren, thank you for your quick response to our orphan’s dire need. Thanks to you donors, all of the orphans and widows survived this last bout of starvation. It was a close call. The orphans were so weak, that they couldn’t even get up out of their beds. But as soon as your donations started coming in, Douglas and his wife Judy purchased food, cooked it, and then went around and fed each orphan in their beds. (This is the second time in the past Month, that they had to do that, feed them in their beds.) We thank God that they all survived, none died. And slowly but surely, they started getting some strength back.
Your quick response helped them soooo much. We also were able to purchase them some much-needed supplies like soap for washing the body, soap for washing clothes, and more. Your donations also purchase them some much needed clothes.
Our African brethren are very hard workers, and they are very blessed to be peasant farmers, a wonderful career (for lack of a better word). All the suffering they are enduring comes from man, and their greed, and their corrupt Government, and harsh rule. But thankfully, all that will end soon, as our Lord returns on the other side of the coming Great Tribulation.
Thank God His Kingdom is approaches. Our lord says He comes back quickly. Let us not be blind to the signs of the times in which we are living. Even Every Super volcano on planet earth is filling with lava right now. Wars and troubles are everywhere. This world is such a powder keg, just as prophesy predicted.
We need to remember what our Lord said for us to do, concerning the trouble that is coming.
(Luke 21:36).
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”
He also tells the Philadelphian’s, the ones with that “Agape” Love of the Father, like you donors possess: “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10).
And in (Psalm 41:1) He tells you donors directly: “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.”
We are living in perilous times brethren (2 Timothy 3:1-5) But, we have nothing to fear. If we have come out of this world, and not partaking of her sinful ways, our Creator will keep us from the plagues “calamity” that is approaching. (Revelation 18:4-5).
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.”
Our Heavenly Father takes care of those who are His.
So please continue to help our poor brethren, especially the orphans and widows the best you can. Your good works continue to glorify our Heavenly Father. Life in those 3rd world countries is terrible. Even now, I just got word that Nehemiah has been arrested. I have no details at all concerning why. But please pray for him. Incarceration there usually includes being beat up, and in need of a hospital after release.
Oh, and by the way, thanks to your spreading the word that help is needed, we received some donations from four new Donors. (I added their emails to the list.)
We have 262 on our E-mail list. Every person who ever donated since 2006, when khofh started, if they had an e-mail address, there probably on the list, and they all received the Updates, and Donor letters. Including the last letter, concerning the current “dire” condition”. But out of the 262 on the list, 26 responded. And your response was wonderful; it gave them such a boost. The same ones that responded, are the same ones that have been supporting all along.
So, thank you Brethren, for practicing that pure religion spoken of by James: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
(James 1:27).
Your brother in Christ.
