KHOFH

November 8, 2019

Greetings Brethren,

Hope all of you are well as we patiently await the return of our Lord and Savior.  We here at the Sengera House Orphanage, are doing okay.

I am happy to report that progress continues to be made on the construction of the boy’s dormitory.  The framing of the roof is now complete, and the metal roofing material has already been purchased and scheduled to be installed next week.  We want to thank all of you who have been assisting in this important project.  The orphans thank you from the bottom of their heart.  What a blessing it will be for them to have a house to live in.  Currently, as you probably know the boys have been sleeping (and living) in the cafeteria.  They have not complained once, but it’s been quite difficult for them to accomplish homework, studying, etc. in such cramped conditions.

Schools are closed in Kenya November and December for summer break, and will resume beginning of January. We are hoping to have the new house completed before school resumes (if possible.) The contractor says he can accomplish if the funds become available.

On another note, last week we visited the Getongo church group located at the Massi border. There were about 20 in attendance, and the message was well received. The brethren send all of you their highest greeting.

Getongo church group.

KHofH has also been able to assist the Ogembo widow Margaret Moraa in starting a project. Margaret and her children are now raising chickens. Her son Bernard (along with the help from Nehemiah) have built and completed a coop for the birds.

Good Sabbath to all,

Bill Goff
