Sengera.
Greetings Brethren,
Greetings from your African Brethren.
Thanks to our Heavenly Father, the wonderful Fall Holy Day Season is moving along well. We want to thank all of you donors who have been helping our orphans, widows and impoverished brethren living in these 3rd world countries, where life can be so rough.
We thank all of you for that “Agape” Love which flows out from our Heavenly Father, and flows through all of you. Your compassionate hearts continue to ease the suffering of our impoverished brethren. You donors are wonderful; some even sent extra for this Feast of Tabernacles, and we have met the budget for all three Feast sites.
Sengera site anticipates over 100 in attendance. Getionko was anticipating around 76, but that number is growing as some still arriving late due to the heavy rains, and much mud. And the Border site has 52 in attendance.
Our brethren are so excited to be getting together, especially the orphans.
(Attending the Feast is the time of their life for the children.)
At the end of “last” year’s Feast. All the remote orphans cried, not wanting to leave. They feared going back home, back to starvation. They said: “The Feast was the first time in their lives when they went seven days straight, with three meals each day.” That’s how poverty is for many of our brethren living in these 3rd world countries. They suffer a lot, and too often, to many still sleep hungry, because the need is so great, but the laborers (the donors) so few.
Well, no sleeping hungry tonight, thanks to your donations there is physical food that we “hope” will last all eight days. And hopefully there will be plenty of Spiritual food served this week as well.

Sengera orphans lined up to take Lunch.

Our Brethren send you donors their Highest Greetings, and they thank you for your help. They keep you in their prayers all the time, and hope you do the same for them.

Getionko Brethren are Thanking You with their hand in sign language.
Brethren, as we keep this year’s Feast of Ingathering, please be sure to inform others of our poor brethren’s cry for help. If others only knew of the suffering, they would help. My hope and prayer is that others will become aware of their suffering, and join hands with us in helping them, especially the orphans and widows, which is that pure and undefiled religion spoken of by James:
“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” (James 1:27).
In (1 John 3:17) we are told: “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”.
Our “Update Page” goes back to 2006, showing the life of our poor brethren, and how the need is great, and how your donations continue to help them. So please let their cry for help be heard. No one here is on any payroll, or any extravagant living. All donations go directly to our brethren’s needs.
We also posted a Feast Sermon, the link is below.
Thank You.
