The Word – Jesus

Even though the bible is very explicit about the life and nature of Jesus Christ, He has  of late become a topic which is a mystery to the majority; and why?

A great majority are those who hold to the lie of Eden, that apart from God, human beings can produce their own knowledge and it be as true as that of God – see Gen. 3:4 – 5.

Following this position, people have wandered into imaginations, adding to and, subtracting from scriptures according to their thoughts; “– not holding fast to the head – – Col. 2:19”.
But let us understand something here please. The message of God pages of the bible, is never taught in schools, does not build on how educated someone is, according to worldly education, because it is, “what no eye has ever seen, nor ear heard, nor the mind of man conceived – 1Cor. 2:9”.

He, God tells us that it is. “—A secret and hidden wisdom of His – 1Cor. 2:7”. If this be the case, who then will reveal it to us? John understood this very clearly and cried wondering, with the same question we are asking here, for he said, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals? – Rev. 5:2”.

Now, lets get it please. No one was found in heaven or on the earth, who can open that book except Jesus Christ – see Rev. 5:3, 5. Jesus speaks through the scriptures. Therefore, apart from the scriptures, no other thinking or knowledge that can explain
the truth about Jesus. God knows this very well and it is why He has warned, saying, “do not add to nor, subtract from His word (scriptures).” With this precaution, lets now go into our topic and listen to God explaining everything through Jesus Himself.

THE WORD – LORD GOD

What does Jesus say about himself? Some have said He never existed until He was born by Mary. Others have said He was a mere thought in God’s mind. But what does He himself say? As He prayed in the last supper, He said, “– glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which I had with you before the world was made – John. 17:5.”

Even though He was named Jesus after that birth by Mary, He is here telling us that He was a glorious being with God the father, even before creation began. He further proved it when He told the Jews, “– before Abraham was, I am – John. 8:58”.

I AM

Friends, this is not just an imagined story. We are reading from God’s word, through which Christ is giving us the truth about Himself. Now, touching on this word, “I AM”, let’s further confirm how Jesus has always existed as God, a separate being from God the father. He says, “when you have lifted up the son of men, then you will know that “I AM HE” – John. 8:28”.

Who is He? “But now says the Lord who created you –.” “For I am the Lord your God the holy one of Israel, your savior –.” “I am God, and hence forth “I AM HE”. ISA. 43:1, 3, 13. Understand if it is given you to do so please. The word of God is hereby very clear that the Lord God who spoke to Isaiah is Jesus Christ, because He has just told us, that, He is the one called “I AM”. Who is also the savior – see Isa. 43:3, 13; compared to John. 8:28, 58. “This is He who was in the congregation in the wilderness – Acts. 7:39.” “— For that  Rock was Jesus – 1Cor. 10:4.” He is the same Rock, Lord, and savior whom David is talking about – see Ps. 18:1-2”.

CHRIST’S VOICE

When He came into the world (see Heb.1:6), and this is longtime after God had spoken to Moses, David and the rest, Jesus said, “And the father who sent me —. His voice, you have never heard, His form, you have never seen – John. 5:37.” How
come! Who was it that spoke to Moses on Mt. Sinai?

Brethren, lets stop using our ignorant minds. Lets allow the only revelator to tell us please. Listen. “See that you do not refuse him who is speaking – Heb. 12:25.” Who is speaking to us right now? Is it not Jesus speaking from heaven? “And to the angel of the church in laodicea (the present age) —. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens, – I will come into him and eat with him – Rev. 3:14, 20”.
To prove that it is Christ speaking from heaven right now, compare this phrase, “ – – I will come into him and eat with him,” with, “—and we will come to him and make our home with him – John. 14:23”.

Now, let’s connect all this and confirm beyond doubt that the Lord God who spoke on mount Sinai is the Jesus who is speaking to us today from the heavenly Zion.

Listen please. “ – – Much less shall we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven —.” Get it please. Christ is warning from heaven. But during those days of Moses; now hear. Lets continue with the next verse. “His voice (who is warning from heaven now) once shook the earth – Heb. 12:25 – 26.”

When and where? “Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke – – and the whole mountain quaked greatly – Ex. 19:16, 18.” Now lets confirm with Hebrews. “His voice once shook the earth. But now He has promised, “Yet once more, I’ll not only shake the earth but also the heavens (Read 2 Pet. 3:12 – 13 please) – Heb. 12:26.” Yes, it was Christ who as the Lord God has always spoken and dealt with mankind. This time, He was not the Son of God, but the word God, who is also the Lord God. This is He of whom it is written, “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God – John.1.1.”

Those who support that this “WORD” means a logic or a revelatory thought in God’s mind are at this point forced to add the word – “IN,” so that the scripture reads: “And the word was within God.” This is a disobedience of God’s command of “don’t add.”

The word “WITH” means, in the company of; it means, different things in one place. If we add the word “IN,” the meaning changes from, “in the company of, “ to “inside of
something.” God has said that the word was in the company of (with him). Meaning two different  things in one place.

THE WORD CREATED

Even though the scriptures say that God created all things, it is very clear that the God who did the actual creating work was the word. Approving of this, He says, “— and the word was God. He (the word) was in the beginning with (in the company of) God. All things were made through him – John. 1:1-3.”

Note something here please. What we are reading here is the bible, not a booklet by Armstrong; it is Christ revealing His truth to those who want to believe. Yes, by the word who was in the beginning with (in the company of God) God, all  things were created.

To confirm that truth about the existence of the two God members even before one became Jesus, and to further prove that Jesus is the Lord God (word) who created Adam, and who has continued to deal with human beings, let’s hear what He says, “For it was fitting that He (the word) for whom and by whom all things exist –. Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same
nature – Heb. 2:10,14.”

Now, do you still want to tell us that, the He, here is referring to God’s though? Nothing could be more wrong than that. God is very simple and clear here, for in order for the word, the Lord God to partake of the same nature as flesh and blood human beings, “—the word become flesh, and we beheld him as the only begotten son of God – John. 1:14”.

He was there before as a spirit being. Then after sometime, he put on a fleshly body, so as to resemble physical human beings. What for?

HE EMPTIED HIMSELF OF GLORY

Yes, every inch of God’s word proves beyond doubt that before the Lord became Jesus the Son of God, He was God as God is God. Hear what He is telling us. “—Though he was in the form of God, He did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but He empted himself – Phil. 2:6 – 7.”

If we read elsewhere, He is afterwards heard telling God, “Now father, glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which I had with thee before the world was made – John, 17:5.”
Surely, He was a glorious God before He became Jesus, the Son of God. But as He has told us, he empted himself of that glory and became a mere human being. Why?

A FORE – PLAN

We have read in other scriptures that, Christ was crucified (slain) before the foundation of the world, and that the salvation plan was made before ages began – see Rev. 13:8, and 2Tim. 1:9. After God began to create man who was to be like Him in every way, Satan deceived man from that God’s plan. When God began to create this man, Satan was already in the world, ruling over it.

God knew that there was a possibility of man sinning by going Satan’s way. So, they fore-planned the salvation project.
They did agree that the word would put on flesh and die for man. Hear what He says about this fore plan. “Consequently, when Christ came into the world, He said, sacrifices and offerings, thou
hast not desired, but a body hast thou prepared for me – Heb. 10:5 – 7.” This verse is a quotation from Ps. 40:6 – 8, something of the Old Testament, something of long before Christ was born.”

If Adam had not sinned, Christ would not have become flesh. He would have continued being the Lord God, the glorious God – being. But since Adam sinned, then the word had to put on the flesh according to the fore – plan – see 1Cor. 15:3 – 4.

The Lord God put on the flesh and became Jesus, so that He can show us physically, the process we will undergo before we become complete, Yes, before we be saved, after that we have become spirit beings, for He is, “the fore-runner of our faith – Heb. 12:2.”

He also came to reveal to us why we are in this physical body, which is for character building through sufferings inflicted to us by Satan, for He says, “Although He was a son, He learned obedience through the things He suffered, and after being perfected – Heb. 5:8 – 9.”

When He finished His mission, He attained His former glory, for in the right hand of God, He is seen with, “his head and hair as white as snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire. His feet like — Rev. 1:14-15.” Yes, He is now like God in every glorious aspect. Compare this with Dan. 7:9. He went back to His original state, and thus confirming to us, what God will make us once we quality.

Therefore, all what we have heard here, has confirmed that the word is a separate personality from God the Father, was not always the Son of God, but that, at some point became Son for the purpose of saving mankind, after which He became that same
Lord God He was at the beginning. This is because a son is like His father in every way. Yes, if God is God, then He can only give birth to God’s for it is written, “I say, “You are gods – John. 10:34.”

Do you believe what Christ has just taught us here, or you prefer what men say?
